Part of the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex area Arlington is located in the northeastern part of the state served by Interstate 20 and 30 - approximately 12 miles east of Fort Worth and 20 miles west of Dallas. There are a lot of activities in the local area as well as the metroplex. You'll also find SixFlags.com
 Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor here. The Dallas Cowboys' new stadium is under construction in Arlington and and Arlington is also home to the Texas Rangers'.
The University of Texas campus is at Arlington and is the third largest institution of the University of Texas System with a current enrollment of over 24,000 students.
