Located in the central region of the state, Austin is served by Interstate 35, State Hwy 290 and 183. Capitol of the state Austin has lots of valleys, hills and lakes running through it. It is a great place to visit and with a motto like 'Keep Austin Weird' - what's not to love.
The University of Texas is located here. There is also lot's of live music, barbecue, artists and craftsmen. A popular vacation spot with 5 lakes to the northwest of the city and 2 within with activities like boating, skiing, swimming and fishing.
